What is Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)?
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) can be fatal. It is a blood clot that commonly occurs in the leg or calf. The affected body part may appear swollen and/or red. It is critical to get treated if you think you might have DVT. Do not exercise, which could cause the blood clot to break loose. If the blood clot is able to move up to the lungs, it could be life-threatening.

Where can I find a Deep Vein Thrombosis treatment? (Philadelphia area)
Prevention of the clot getting bigger and traveling is most important. More modern treatments are now used that do not require blood testing each week.
